Ian was involved in a car accident that created a whiplash condition in his neck and shoulder. This condition occurs when your head moves too quickly forwards and backwards, usually as seen in a car accident. This whipping action causes micro-tears in ligaments, tendons, and muscles of the neck and shoulders, resulting in pain and restriction of your range of motion.
