Jeanne’s own history is a shining example of what nutrition and wellness care can do.

Before their marriage in 1993, Jeanne had been seeking answers to her own health challenges with ovarian cysts, sleep apnea, sinus infections, and hypoglycemia.  At the young age of 28 she was told that she would need a hysterectomy (complete removal of uterusand ovaries) due to heavy bleeding and ovarian cysts or she would be “sentencing herself to a life of surgeries and drugs.”  Her OB GYN Doctors accused her of treating her body like “road kill” when she refused to undergo a complete hysterectomy.  But Jeanne found another doctor at Emory who took her case.  They removed the large grapefruit-sized cyst and one ovary but left the uterus and healthy ovary intact.  Jeanne then studied herbs and natural remedies and became a chiropractic patient to restore her health and prevent future illnesses.

Jeanne Winner has been serving the Gainesville community as a Natural Health Practitioner since 1993.  She began her career assisting her husband, Jack Winner D.C. in his chiropractic clinic in Gainesville helping patients with weight loss.  It became a lifelong passion.

In 1993,  she graduated with certification in Nutritional Counseling from Dekalb College Assistant Certification Program sponsored by the Georgia Chiropractic Association.    Jeanne has continued to advance her education and became Certified in Hormone Balance Theory in 1996 and Clinical Nutrition in 1998, and in Advanced Clinical Nutrition in 2005. She is currently working on a Doctor’s degree in Naturopathy and has a successful Nutritional Healing clinic alongside her husband Dr. Jack Winner’s successful Chiropractic and Kinesiology clinic.  Together they make up the Winner Wellness Center.

Successful Nutritionist Practitioners, such as Jeanne, whose skills are sharpened by years of clinic experience are a rare find.  It takes many years of practice to achieve the  level of proficiency required to give the practitioner the ability to identify the root causes,  and to formulate the right combination of supplements and treatment protocols to result in a correction of a patient’s illness or imbalance.
